Meet My Madness

  • SuperDad- Patient and long-suffering husband. Suit-wearing breadwinner. Funniest guy I know.

Moodswinging Mommy- Ex Patriot Canadian. Enseignante extraordinaire. Aspiring optimist. Stay at home mom of two. How on Earth did I get here?

RJ- Our son and daily wake-up call. Three years old and too smart for his own good.

Baby C- Our precious baby girl. How can she crawl that fast?

Pee Monster- Anyone want a cat?

    Where did that come from?

MSM:  RJ, for the last time, please come over here! If you aren't dressed, we can't go to the playground....Okay, I guess we aren't going.

RJ: (Runs to me, panic-stricken)  Mommy!  Don't call the fireman on the phone and tell him I'm not listening!  I don't want to be in jail!

    O-kay...

Honestly, what on Earth is going on in his head?

I'd love to hear some of your huh?!?  parenting moments!

I think they are just at that age where the imagination really takes off. Miss E regales me almost daily when she wakes up of tales of having conversations with people in her room - I'm assuming she's dreaming.

You can check out my little snippet of video on my blog for my own brand of parenting 'huh?' today :)

    Snort- imaginative little thing.

lol. Brilliant. I wish I knew the rest of the story he had in his mind.

I have no similar tales to tell as my little one isn't at the speaking stage yet. Although, I can't wait to see what comes out when she learns.

My oldest daughter was eating a lot for a few days so i said to "are you going to go through a growth spurt?" well 2 days later my youngest (3) comes running up to me and says " mommy I ate everything cause I am having a gross burp!"

Too cute! I have lots of those 'huh?' parenting moments around my house, so I totally relate : )
